Unlike Romeo and Juliet

In ravaged dreams
of auburn depths and autumn breaths,
In hollowed walls
of incandescent lights and luminous streaks
In murmured echoes
of aging memoirs and distant memories,

Lovers,

dance to the stillness of nothingness,
hum along to the songs of all sorrows,
surrender to the infinities of their deaths.
