My Blogging Years

I have been blogging since 2004 and this WordPress blog is only my third real blog. My Tumblr doesn’t count since I really don’t post anything relevant over there.

I just find it a little funny how my writing has changed through the years. I vividly remember writing the cheesiest, sappiest entries in the entire galaxy in my old Xanga account. I am shocked by all the emo-ness I’ve written when I was in high school! 😐

does it look old or what

And then in my Blogspot account, I think it was there that I somehow improved. I still haven’t tried reading all my entries there again but I’m pretty sure I’ll find something to laugh about. That blog of mine holds so many stories about my life, who I am and all that shebang that it’ll be difficult to delete it. Although I seriously want to shove that blog deep into the abyss.

my "cheesy blah"

Six years of my life are available in the Internet. Six years of my life are available for everyone to read. Haha.

But I don’t think I can ever stop blogging–or writing in general. As a writer, I live for and among words. Non-writing folks will never understand how valuable it is for us writers to be able to put into words what others simply can’t. An honest-to-goodness one-liner is one hell of a release, I tell you.

P.S.

I hate Sundays because it signals the start of another week at work. Never mind that. I can’t wait for Tuesday. I’ll finally get to see Toy Story 3 with Baby! Yay! <3

unleashing the inner child in me! 🙂
