With no scheduled booze session or Wednesdate with the boyfriend, we trooped to Bugsy’s after work. This is what I like about Makati, you can walk to practically anywhere as long as you’re:
b) wearing comfortable footwear.
Now, before you start gagging in your seat at what you’re about to see, do know that we were all so hungry at the time that’s why we gave in to our kicking-and-screaming stomachs. These are not what you’re plates are gonna look like when you order. Post-eating though, these might be the same images you shall be seeing. Haha!
Fortunately (is it really?), I managed to take photos of them though they look like they’ve been manhandled by a band of gorillas. Here’s the Southern Fried Chicken that Grace ordered. Two big slabs of pork with not-so-mashed potatoes (tastier than the wedges) and veggies on the side.
I wonder why I always order their Potato wedges (Php95) when they can’t properly season it? Oh yes, the blue cheese dip!
Natz had spicy tuna pasta that lived up to its name. We were begging for water with every bite. Too bad I wasn’t able to take a photo of it. Then we also had spicy buffalo wings, which reeked heavily of vinegar.
They have a daily Buy 1 Take 1 promo on cocktails from 3PM to 8PM. We’ve tried some of their cocktails on a previous visit but they were either bland or too strong. I would suggest, however, that you purchase a bottle of alcohol (Johnnie Walker or Absolut) and order cans of Coke or Sprite to go with it. I think you’d get a bigger bang for your buck. That’s what we did (or at least, the boyfriend and the boys) when we went to Bugsy’s Ortigas before.
