First things first, let me apologize for the photo. Everybody at home fell in love with the chocolates. I only remembered to take photos after eating, uhm, you can count the empty slots right there. Haha. Anyway, I have my Kuya to thank for bringing home this beautiful box of fine chocolates from Paulene Chocolats one rainy night. This box of Pralines was one of the two boxes Kuya brought home. My mom devoured the first. (Boo!)
The brainchild of Cuillere chef Katrina Kuhn-Alcantara, Paulene Chocolats is every chocolate lover’s safe haven. They only use imported ingredients, with each one individually handcrafted to perfection. It’s kinda like bringing home a box of personalized chocolates, noh? But they do make personalized chocolates, which would be perfect for weddings, corporate events or even for anniversaries.
I cannot emphasize how I adore the very detailed prints and patterns on top of the Pralines. Each one has a different filling inside. They have mint, chestnut, coffee, vanilla bean and lots more. The pralines were smooth, velvety and absolutely lovely. Plus, it wasn’t too sweet. Although the latter would vary according to one’s preference in chocolates.
The design of the box is cute too. It slides off, parting the box in the center. Totally adorable. Even better, they come in equally dainty pink boxes.
Want to get your hands on their pralines, ganache or truffles? Paulene Chocolats is available at Chuck’s Deli in Serendra, Alabang Town Center, and The Blue Kitchen in Shang and Powerplant Mall.
I myself shall troop to either of these three locations just so I could take home these girly, yummy and dainty chocolate babies!
