A Casa Victorina Weekend

If you’re wondering where I have been last weekend, as I have been off the SNS radar, I was actually with B’s family in Calatagan. We were there for his sister, Ate Debbie’s big, bag birthday. πŸ™‚

We stayed at Casa Victorina, a sprawling beach-side property. From the house, one could walk to the beach. But it was low-tide at the time so the beach didn’t look too inviting when we arrived.

Nevertheless, having the sea so close to where we’re staying boosts the relaxation level, don’t you think? πŸ˜€

Hello, Tito Des & Tita Lisa πŸ˜€

Here’s the three-floor Casa Victorina. This place is deal for humongous groups–fit for reunions, team-building activities and birthdays. Bedrooms, sleeping nooks, day beds, dining corners and lounge areas are aplenty. I couldn’t decide where to sit!

Balcony/terrace on the second floor!

You could literally hang out at one area and people will have a hard time looking for you.Β In fact, I went up to the second floor balcony to smoke and the boyfriend came up to me saying he was looking for me everywhere. See? Even grown ups can get lost in that huge place. πŸ˜€

The second floor

Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, two balconies (one faces the pool, the other one faces the front courtyard), a pool table, a bar area, etc. What I adored the most are the doors (see photo below).

Dada + the door

The bedroom doors are notably oriental. I want those doors! Each room had its own private bathroom–a huge plus! πŸ™‚ It parts in the middle like a wardrobe. At night, it looks a wee bit eerie and scary though.

They also had rooftop–so much space! Although at night, it is a little scary. With the place being so open–you can’t help but feel a little nervous. All sorts of things could walk in! Eep, scary! πŸ˜€

Hello, Calatagan!

While everybody was enjoying the pool, I was left with nothing to do but take pictures. I had my monthly “thing” and I was on my second day so it really wasn’t possible for me to swim. Plus, I don’t want to spread toxic waste. Haha.

Although I wasn’t able to “experience” the pool, I still made the most out of my time there. I “learned” how to play Poker–and won. Haha. Thanks to the boyfriend who was coaching me all the time.

Also, I have to thank the Jamili’s + the girlfriends + especially Ate Debbie for a wonderful weekend getaway. πŸ™‚Β With plans of returning to this place next year, I do hope my monthly “thing” cooperates. Err.

P.S.
As much as I want to post all the photos, I can’t. Hihi. Friends can check out my Facebook though for the entire set. πŸ™‚

Hi. I noticed there weren’t any photos in the beach area. What’s the beach like?

    • I didn’t take photos of the beach much. It was a bit brown/gray though πŸ™‚
