I first saw this Air Jordan 1 Retro High Deep Burgundy Voltage Cherry pair at the Nike Outlet Store in Paseo Sta. Rosa. It was one of the many pairs lined up under the “final sizes” rack. Actually, my friend Camille first saw this but I thought she was referring to another pair, one that I found too pink and feminine. Funny how I came up to her all excited that I-saw-this-awesome-pair-of-sneakers-with-lace-and-that-too-bad-they-didn’t-have-it-in-my-size only to be told that this was the pair she was telling me about. Oops. 😀
I have a thing with lace and seeing that dainty fabric on a pair of sneakers truly got me excited. I thought I’d never find that pair again, ’til the boyfriend and I randomly dropped by Rustan’s Alabang. I was surprised to find a tiny sneaker section (for kids, actually) there, and was even more surprised to see this exact pair displayed at the very top of the wall. If I had been disinterested that night, I wouldn’t have seen this. But no, I looked up and saw the toe box peeking out of the edge and grabbed it. To my delight, it was the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Deep Burgundy Voltage Cherry!
This new addition brings my sneaker count to five! Hoozah. This wasn’t my only cop that day though (second sneaker post is comin’ up in a few days. 😀
