Back at Healthy Grounds Cafe

It’s usually the impromptu trips that turn out to be more awesome than scheduled ones, don’t you think? Last week, I got together with some of my favorite persons in the world and met up at a former orgmate’s coffee shop called Healthy Grounds Cafe. It’s a cozy little coffee shop along Aguinaldo Highway (just before Robinson’s Imus if you’re coming from Manila) that is breathing caffeine goodness into the lazy (and sleepy) atmosphere of Imus, Cavite.

I’ve blogged about Healthy Grounds Cafe at another site before, but now I’m saving a space for HGC here at Curious Corrine. 🙂

Check out the bar.

Oops, sorry Ate Tiff! I think I took a photo at the wrong time. 😛

Guess who’s late? Mica, of course.

I wanted pasta that night but it seems like the gods wanted me to eat healthy that night because no pasta dish was available. I opted for a plate of Caesar Salad. It looks a lot different no? Even though it looked different, it was still really good.

Healthy Grounds’ caramel macchiato.

I drank a nice cup of caramel macchiato, which wasn’t bursting with toothache-y sweetness. If I remember correctly, a glass–better yet, a mug–of this costs just around Php90. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Kuya Renan was the only person to order a non-salad dish. This is his plate of Spicy Fries peppered with diced jalapeños.

Next time, we’ll occupy that large corner over there. Looks so comfy!

Healthy Grounds Cafe at night. Hello, people indoors. Love, diners by the outdoor seats.

Our healthy dinner at Healthy Grounds Cafe turned out to be just the beginning of a crazy night. 😀
